Lot Observer helps users view dealership inventory, trade-in appraisal information, and related account data in one place.
Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address, name if provided, authentication provider, and account session information. When you use trade-in tools, we may save appraisal details such as VIN, year, make, model, mileage, condition, ZIP code, and valuation results.
Google Sign-In
If you sign in with Google, we use Google authentication to verify your identity and receive basic profile information such as your email address and name. We do not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, calendar, or other Google account content.
How We Use Information
We use account and appraisal information to operate the service, keep each user's saved data separate, provide login and password reset features, improve reliability, and protect the platform from unauthorized use.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that host, secure, or operate the application, or when required to comply with law or protect the service.
Data Retention and Control
Saved trade-in appraisals can be deleted from your account. Account records may be retained as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain security.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect account data. No internet service can guarantee complete security.
